Shraddha Ceremony for Sally Kempton
Join Tara and Sadhana sister Elizabeth Rossa together to give gratitude and celebrate our teacher Sally Kempton on the one year anniversary of her death. The Shraddha ceremony is a Hindu name for the time we honor her as she joins the realm of the ancestors
We know the network of beings inspired by and/or taught by Sally is a brightly lit and immensely diverse collective. As long-time students and friends of Sally, we wish to hold a satsang on the anniversary of her transition to host this collective.
On July 10th, 2024, we will offer a virtual ceremony for Sally’s worldwide community to come together to hold space for deep listening and witnessing of the tapestry of beings that intersected through her teachings.
There are no set guidelines except to bring yourselves with open and generous hearts and a willingness to share a bit about your connection with Sally and/or her teachings.
For the day on Zoom, we will give everyone one minute to share if they wish.
We feel Sally delights when we gather in her honor, and we both have felt this delight in the respective spaces we regularly hold. Sally is always present.
We will begin the ceremony on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024 at:
9:00 am San Francisco
12:00 pm New York
5:00 pm London
6:00 pm Rome
7:00 pm Paros
12:00 am Bali (on July 11th)
All are welcome to join in this ritual celebration, including those who never met Sally during her embodiment but have been inspired by her life and teachings.
We are excited to hear from all of you!
The powerful reality is that Sally lives on through the teachings and the transmission.
